Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They are the best! I replaced the four tires on my Ford F-250 on 2-14-14 with the exact same type as I previously purchased, XPS RIB 235/85R16. That set of tires had 70,000 miles and was over 12 years old when I decided due to their age it was time to replace them and they still were above the legal minimum for tread depth. BTW This is the second product review I have ever written.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality tire, best performance by far! Xze were instaled on our motor home three thousand mile ago. I screamed at the price but the tires are worth the effort. Excellant traction, even in down pouring rain. The ride is great !! My first choice in selecting a quality , good looking and the best performance a person can get, That's Michelin quality and lasting performance. For me and all three of our vehicles, it's Michelin Tire !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No More Tire Worries We had 2 blowouts within 150 miles of each other on our 5th wheel trailer. The tires were identical replacements as the original tires, and only had 2,500 miles on them. We were many miles from home, and driving all the way home on these tires was not going to be an option. Needless to say, they were NOT Michelins. I've had Michelin tires on my SUV's and motorhomes in the past, and never had a single problem, and they wore beautifully. So I decided that I would replace all 4 of the tires on the 5th wheel with Michelin XPS Ribs. I can't tell you what a relief it is to be driving on Michelins again. The XPS's are wearing beautifully, and the ride is excellent. I would highly recommend XPS Ribs to anyone looking for replacement tires for their 5th wheel trailer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the "best" light truck tire. This is the "best" light truck tire ever made because it is the only tire that will stand up to a RV application. I have used these on my motorhome and never had a problem in 100,000 miles. I have driven all the way to Alaska and back without any problems. The OE tires started failing after 35,000 miles and continued to fail until they were all replaced with XPSs. If you want to have a tire problem free vacation, replace the tires on your motorhome with XPSs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delivered Expectations Bought these tires to replace an expiring set of winter seasons. Glad I did. Smooth ride. Plenty of traction in all nature has to offer. And the price was right (especially with the rebate.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The very best tires The best tires I have ever owned. I have an SUV and the ride is so quiet. We can hear each other talk and there is no tire humming. Love them and will buy them again/

Rated 5 out of 5 by from XPS Ribs again! Just replaced set of four XPS Ribs on my 5th wheel trailer after 7 years with zero problems. Needless to say, I replaced them with another set of XPS Ribs. Safety, reliability and trouble-free performance are top priority for me. Based on previous experience, I feel the XPS Ribs are well worth the money. I have been very satisfied with these tires!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Tire ~ Never had a tire that gets the mileage that I get from these tires. Run 235/85-16's on my Dodge TD, 53' drop-deck, and 4-horse trailer. Done a lot of HotShoting in the last 13 years and never had a failure - and that is at the speed limit (75) and extreme wheel/tire temps with a heavy load on my 53 footer. I run 80# on the rears and the trailer and 75# on the fronts. I checked the "ride" as Very Good, but if you rode in my truck you'd ask me how would I know what the ride is - suspension is modified for the heavy loads (trucks nickname is "Deuce and a Half) but the ride is good when it's loaded :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tire Have used this tire on my '99 Dodge R3500TD after the originals gave out. Average about 75K on the truck - and 100K on my 53' drop deck. In my opinion there is no tire that performs as well as this one for heavy hauling (HotShot). Never had a blow-out. Run mine at 75# front and 80# rears. Truck is modified to 2.5 ton pulling a trailer rated at 32K.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from XPS RIB Have these on a F350 dually and also on a 40ft Kountry Aire. The trailer weighs 20,000 before you put your water and personnal items in it. Read some of the reviews and it has been my experience under inflation will cause tire failure. With that said when I bought these tires the dealer put 60 pounds of air in them. Ford said, 60 pounds so that is what they did. Well I fixed that I run 90 pounds in them and have not had a lick of trouble with them. Bought all 12 tires in 2004, still have them on the vehicals. The ones on the truck have 80,000 plus miles and the ones on the trailer have about a 1,000 miles on them. Can't stress it enough put some air in them. It has 80 pounds on the side of the tire, but I run 90 in mine. Bought these in mind to recap when the tread wears out. I will say that gravel hurts them some. I'm going to recap them and run them some more. Another thing don't run them into curbs because the side wall is 2 ply. They are built on the same platform as the XZA class 8 truck tire. I have ran the XZA recaped 3 times when I trucked. I put 115 pounds in those tires. Remeber under inflation causes heat, heat destoys tires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Truck Tire On The Market I have RIB tires on our 2000 Dodge Laramie 3500 DRW Quad Cab 4X4 (2nd set, wore out the first set at 60K), our 2006 GMC Sierra CC DRW 4x4 (27K miles on them) and on our 14400lb 5th wheel Holiday Rambler camper (15K miles on them). Never have had one problem with any of the 4 sets of RIB tires purchased. I wouldn't buy any other tire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These tires wear very ... These tires wear very well and, give an excellent smooth ride. One can tell that the road resistance is minamal contributing to better fuel economy, which at todays prices can pay for the cost of the tires. Feel very secure, not worried about flats or blow outs, either loaded or unloaded. Really don't cost more than cheap tires considering all the benefits of owning them and, the fact that I feel that they pay for theselves in the end. Buy one set to every one or two of other brands.
