Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great traction and handling This is my second set Michelin Premier A/S tires. The first set lasted 60,000 miles and handled extremely well in all conditions. I purchased my second set recently and expect to get another 60,000 miles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bumpy Ride These new tires are not smooth at all and the ride is bumpy at best. Haven't driven in the rain yet, so not sure what the traction will be like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires and the customer service was excellent I bought these tires a few weeks ago and they are great. I love the traction these tires have and the smooth riding . The staff at NTB is great and very considerate & friendly also. I highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet, long wearing tire These were the tires that came on my Nissan Altima when it was purchased. They are a quiet tire and have great handling in any type of weather conditions. Tire life is exceptional with proper tire rotation. Can't be more pleased and hope Michelin never stops making this tire. You can pay less for a tire and you will get less. Simple fact.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it. Buy these. You won't know how much better they are than the competition (I swapped out Pirelli Cinturatos) until you do. Solid, quiet and worth every penny so far. Dry and wet handling, highway and local side roads. Excellent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 36,000 and Failed / Down to Wear Indicators Premier A/S 235/55R18, 2013 Ford Escape SE, well maintained, aligned, rotated, mild driving style. 3 years old, two shifted belts and not enough tread to pass inspection. Very disappointed! Dealer said not worth trying on the prorated warranty. Never had such poor performance from Michelins! Do not buy these tires, they are not worth the money.
Date published: 2020-12-13
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worn out early Long time Michelin customer, many sets. 3 years 8 months ago we bought a set of Premier tires for our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. 31000 miles later tread depth is at 5/32. Almost worn out with only half the warranty miles on them. Always have had a lot of miles on my Michelin’s, never wore out a set, had to replace them due to weather checking. Will still recommend Michelin’s, just not the Premier

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding 2012 Buick, over 62,000 miles on Premiers, 124000 on the Buick, trying to decide whether to keep running them, or get new tires before winter. Great ride, happy with gas mileage, no issues with this set. I keep Michelins on the Buick and on my 2000 Silverado HD 4x4 pick up (254,000 miles, E rated strength tires for heavy loads, etc.) Glad Premier model is still available - Buick on Michelin Premiers is the best and safest ride there is! Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wore in 2 years Got them at Costco and they lasted like 2 years and under 30k miles before they were bald.
Date published: 2020-12-09
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible Tread Life! Purchased four Premier LTX All Season Tires at Costco for my wife’s Outback. Tires perform fairly well be only lasted 29,000 miles, now need to be replaced. Costco is offering a prorated discount for another set of Michelin tires but we do not want them. Did not last half of expected tread life! Hey Michelin, what’s the deal? I used to swear by this brand but will have trouble supporting moving forward. What a shame!
Date published: 2020-12-04
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I drive a 2012 Subaru Outback. I have ran Michelins for many years, on my present vehicle and others and have never been disappointed. My Premiers have 61,000 miles on them and I will be replacing them tomorrow. The handling, stopping, in rain and in snow has been excellent while giving a comfortable ride. I would not want to drive any other tire.
Date published: 2020-12-03
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smooth ride- but don’t last long. These tires came on my 2017 Pacifica hybrid. These tires provide a smooth ride but wear out fast. At 30,000 miles, my tire shop said they couldn’t rotate because they need replacement. I change my oil every 5,000 miles and get a rotation each time and alignThe tire service said I can get maximum of 37,000 miles from what’s left. As mentioned these were fitted for my hybrid minivan so it’s not like I drive crazy with 4 children in the back. I drive the freeway at most 5 times per month. I would take an extra 10,000 miles over the smooth ride these tires provide. I always thought Michelin was one of the best companies out there. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The tires were awesome I felt comfortably safe with these tires, they handled great on wet or dry roads

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 60,000 mile tires worn out at 25,000 miles I bought a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox with these tires in April 2018. After just 25,000 miles, I was informed by the dealer that I need new tires. My wife drives this car. We are retired and drive this car between 3,000 (COVID) and 10,000 (normal) miles a year. We do not drive the car on gravel roads or in snow or icy conditions because it is not AWD. I would like someone to contact me so I can make an informed decision about buying my next set of tires.
Date published: 2020-11-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am satisfied with my tires. I was deciding between a less expensive brand and Michelin tires. So glad I went with Michelin. Great look and comfy drive. I am on the road a lot. I need my tired to be safe and reliable. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never Compromise, ice & snow heat & rain We purchased some A/S tires for my wife's 2008 Camry in 2016. The tires were rated for 60,000. Immediately I could tell the quality difference between the Michelin's and other brands I had purchased in the past. They grip the road like a glove, and with a newborn at the time I promised myself never to compromise again. We live in Minnesota, and I can tell you that in the ice and snow these tires perform like a no other. I recently had to replace the tires and again went with Michelin. We got 70,190 miles out of the last set, and if winter was not here, we could have pushed them even further. I know this is the last set of tires I am going to have to purchase for this vehicle, but it they will not be the last Michelins I ever buy. Living in a severe climate region like Minnesota means never compromise. These tires will spoil you from beginning to end and all roads in between. Anyone dogging the quality of Michelins should take a look at their vehicle and tire care. Align, inflate, and rotate and you will get every penny out of these treads.
Date published: 2020-10-28
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Premature Wear I've purchased Michelin tires for the past 30 years and the Premier A/S have worn down to 3/32 and 4/32 in less than 27,000 miles. I'm meticulous about rotating my tires every six thousand miles, keeping them properly inflated, and have never driven on rock or gravel roads which can cause excessive wear. This is the first set of Michelin tires that have worn this quickly and it seems like a very common issue with these tires.
Date published: 2020-10-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 60,000 mile tire, 60,000 miles driven. I put a set of four on my 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour on Sept. 2015. At 60,000 miles today, not quite at the top of the wear bars but getting close. With winter approaching, looking to replace this set with the same model. Pretty sure this same tire model was also the factory set and drove 60,000 miles on those too. I do take good care of my vehicle including tire pressure and rotation and wheel alignment. Tread doesn’t look aggressive but never had a bad experience in snow. Great wet weather traction. Only “complaint” is that they are a bit noisy on the highway and minor bumps in the road are like drumbeats.
Date published: 2020-10-21
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great ride, terrible tread life I have 4 Premium LTX. Two I put on 25,000 miles ago and two I put on 20,000 miles ago. I am retired so don't drive many miles or a do I abuse them in any way! All four need to be changed already. This is crazy as I always thought Michelin was the best, but I guess I am wrong. If customer service does not contact me in the next few days I will switch tire manufacturers and it will be permanently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great crew Tires are working great and so has the battery since last I got it this year. Friendly guys and super helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice ride and quiet. Needed tires and wanted a quiet ride. These tires were a good choice.
Date published: 2020-10-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TIRES..HANDLES THE ROAD IN BAD WEATHER I placed 4 new Michelin Tires on my 4Runner in 2012. I just changed them this year. Because of the Covid, I had a hard time getting them and put a brand that compares. The tread was barely worn. I drive between 15,000-30,000 miles a year. I live in Baltimore and these tires, Michelin, never failed me in the snow or rain. I never got stuck in mud. Well, I am putting Michelins on my Corolla. Toyota only had 4 of my tire size left and I have to move quickly because of the Covid. I don't care what the cost is.
Date published: 2020-10-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from An all around great tire I just purchased my second set for my 2011 Sonata. I put 70K on my first set and still had plenty of tread left. My garage rotated every other oil change and that, I think, is the secret to getting the best results. I could not be more satisfied. I run Defenders on my Silverado and have experienced similar satisfaction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Premier AS 92H on 2013 Subaru Legacy Can't say enough good things about this tire, living in Southern California. Put them on My Legacy with 86k in August of 2017, now I'm at 140k in October 2020 looking at replacement tires (but still have a little ways to go, just getting a jump on it) and will have no reservations about putting these on again. I've had 0 issues with them except for a nail I picked up which was repaired. I've only had to check a tire low low pressure once outside of the nail incident. These tires are rock solid, don't hesitate.
Date published: 2020-10-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too soon to tell but.... Since I have had these tires put on, my MPG has done down .5 MPG. I figured new tires would increase my MPG. Somewhat confused.
Date published: 2020-10-08
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Solid handling; very noisy tire Replaced my original Bridgestone tires with 4xPremier AS at Costco. The OEM tires were very quiet but only lasted just under 40k miles, with noticeable wet handling issues towards the end.. The new Premiers are rock solid when it comes to handling, but the level of whining noise they make is something I have never experienced with even much cheaper brands on any of the cars in our household over the past 25+ years.
Date published: 2020-09-28
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good feel, great stopping, very poor wear life A 60,000 mile tile that lasted about 17,000 miles before I had to replace the fronts. Not worth the money. Went with another brand that has so far lasted 38,000 miles of their 50,000 stated wear milage. I really liked the ride and feel of these Michelin tires but was looking for more than one year of use.
