Currently 19881 miles on the front and back but I know what I’m getting for Christmas

Handle great but don't last long, 5,800 miles to the wear bar.
OEM lasted 5,800 miles down to the wear bar, long lasting, not.

Good tire for what my bike is designed to do
Longevity is an issue. I have 24,000 on my Lowrider ST and the rear is only getting about 8,000 before they need to be replaced. I got 20,000 out of the front. Rain performance is excellent. Grip and handling are good. I recently did 1100 miles in 17.5 hours and all was good. I do group rides in tight formation and these are able to keep me steady and are responsive. Unbeknownst to me, I picked up a nail on a ride and I figured out that I probably road 50 miles at a good clip with it in there and still had air and control. These tires have proven to be good at what my bike is designed for but the are expensive and with frisky riding they wear out too fast. I am not beating on them but I am not taking it easy. I should be getting over 10,000 miles on a rear but that is not the case. I have a motorcycle budget and it is mostly being spent on tires. I will offer myself to test out tires for ya so please reach out to me and I'll give em a thorough run down.

Great tire!
2023 FXLRST, original tires lasted 13k rear, 31k front. Replaced the rear with a Metzeler Cruisetec, lasted 18k, putting another Scorcher 31 on the rear, new Metzeler on the front. Happy enough to run either the Scorcher 31 or Metzeler, availability is the deciding factor.

Poor mileage longevity
Tires only last 5-6 k miles. Not worth the money.
Scottm7765, thank you for your feedback. The wear of a tire can vary depending on usage, load, riding conditions, and proper inflation. Please bring your bike to a local dealer for inspection or contact Michelin Consumer Care at 800-346-4098 to ensure you have an approved fitment for your year / make / model of motorcycle.

Great Features
I bought this motorcycle a few months ago and these tires have done wonders, they work great in the rain and on gravel road.

Worth the price for a bike you plan to keep
Grips the road well in rain and looks sharp

Poor excuse for "long lasting mileage"
highly recommend not buying these tires. only 4k miles out of them and there already needing replacement. tire pressure checked 4x a week as well. very unhappy with the fact that only after 2 months i already need to replace them. will be switching back to Metzlers or Dunlops from now on.
Hi roadgremlin, thank you for your feedback on MICHELIN Scorcher 31 tires. Tire wear very much depends on several factors including air pressure, riding style, road conditions and application just to name a few. You may also want to consider the other great benefits of a Scorcher tire: they deliver excellent wet grip, nimble handing and comfortable ride--all opposing forces when it comes to designing an all-around great product.

Best traction
103 fxdwg with 150k , always used the scorcher 31 , they are best , climb walls with them I'm thinking. Never had tire slip , NEVER , throw it into wet corners no problem . Usually 13000 km's on a 21" front and 16000 km's on a rear , one up.

These tires are great. They have good grip in all terrain even if it’s raining. They are great tires I haven’t had any problems with them.
