Excellent tires for my 77 CB550K
I've been using Kenda Challengers for years on all my bikes and they always wear out in less than 5,000 on the rear. They also don't do very well in the rain. After a lot of research and reading reviews I decided to spend extra and give the Michelins a try. Wow, what a difference! Very sticky, can do some really tight corners with these. They also perform very well on the highway. I can easily cruise 85+ all day no issues. With the Kendas it would always feel like everything was going to fall apart at those sustained speeds. Going over grooved surfaces and poor-quality roads is not a problem for these tires. You very rarely feel anything unless the road is exceptionally bad. The Kendas would want to "walk" if you drove over tar patches, paint lines, etc. Not a problem with the Michelins. Biggest regret is that I've wasted 15 years on cheap, crappy tires. It's an investment to buy these, for sure. But if you're debating it just do it. It's totally worth it. A whole new ride.

WOW, great wear and performance at the same time in bias ply tire.
I have a 2024 Moto Guzzi STONE V7 Model 10. The bike came with the bias ply Road Classic and I'm thrilled with how they work, straight or leaned over. There is a stretch of severe grooved asphault ready for resurface, but the road classics ignore it other than the noise. I was stuck in pouring rain so hard the roads were rivers. At reasonable speed, the tires walked right through the mess. I'm at 9,000 miles a still have probably 2,000 more miles to go riding back country roads and state highways, seldom controlled acess interstate. My thought was to go radials when they wore out, but not any more. I'll use these as long as I can get them. These aren't my Dad's bias ply tire!

Excellent tire! 100% Perfecr!
Brilliant, excellent tire! Excellent higher speed (80-110 mph), even with the saddlebags on. Transitions from left to right, right to left, or leaned over up to straight smooth and predictably. I have several bikes, but put these on my 1985 BMW K 100 RT (my two wheel station wagon) and I can’t imagine a better tire for that bike! Mileage seems to be exceptional too (3000 miles on the rear tire and it looks to be at most halfway)

Excellent tyre!
Transformed the handling of my T100. Over 8,000km and they are wearing very well, other makes would have to be replaced by now.

Road Classic Tires.
Beware-Got a new set of these installed on my Triumph T-100. The front now has a vibration that comes and goes every 2 seconds at 45-55 mph. Had it to the shop 4 times to re-balance, replace tube, rotate tire 180 degrees, check rim, steering bearings etc. Still has a vibration. Mechanic said you may have a defective tire? Triumph Rat forum has a lot of bad front tire stories, not always Michelin but many brands which tells me that I may have the same problem??

My New Choice in Tires
I recently replace a well know German motorcycle tire that had moved their production to China with Michelin Road Classics. I think you know which manufacturer I'm talking about. The quality had greatly declined and the Michelins are great in the wet and cornering. These are for my 1985 BMW R80RT. Don't know how long they will last, but I'm pretty easy on tires. Michelin is my new tire of choice.

Love the ride
Great tire on rain and for touring. These thing stick in corners

mixed bag
After wearing three sets of the no longer available pilot activ model, I felt confident buying the new improved road classics. I've been happy with street and mountain road performance, they hold the road well. However, this new tire did not perform as well as my Pilot Activs for local CA grooved freeway riding. After 1K miles, the squirrely front end feeling which this tire displays when ridden on grooved freeway pavement has me ready to trade the front tire for the new continental. This 100/90/19 Road Classic will soon be removed as the front tire for my 1983 BMW R100

Great Tires
I usually run Pirelli sport demons on my vintage bikes. Recently I wanted to to try this on a 79 Suzuki GS 1000 I restored. I was so surprised how well they performed. Rock solid stability at high speeds around 100mph. Cornering is excellent as well. I have to run tubes in this tire and Michelin said it was no problem. Pirelli would not tell me yes or no if it was ok to run a tube in there vintage tire. I do like the tread pattern "look" of the Pirelli, the Road Classics look like the Avon Road Riders. Anyway Michelin said it was new, I really like the tire, the fact I can run a tube inside is a plus.

Nice Tires
Yes I had this tire put on my Honda Shadow Sabre back in 2020 and bike rides nice and grips even in wet weather!
