2024 Ninja 650 stock tires were not cutting it. The change in grip (in dry & especially wet conditions) is remarkable.

Michelin Road 6 tires
I have been riding on Michelin Road tires for many many years. I just love them. They are great in the rain. I can get over 10,000 miles on a set of tires. My last set was the Road 6 tires. They are performing like all the previous ones have performed. I will buy no other tires than the Michelin Road tires as long as I am riding motorcycles.

Very Pleased with Road 6s
I have been using Road 6s on my 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000 since 2023. Compared to the OE Bridgestone T32s, the turn-in characteristics are amazingly better. The Road 6s 'woke up' the handling, and made the bike feel much more sporting in nature. I ride very aggressively, and the Road 6s last longer that the T32s and also have far superior wet weather grip. I get 10,000 miles out of a front Road 6, and 5,000 miles out of a rear Road 6. The accelerated wear on the rear is due to a very heavy top box (I like to carry a lot of junk in my trunk), and my aggressive riding style.

Great Tire!!
Great tires. I like how easy they are to install. They have good wet traction and cornering grip. The lifespan has increased with the later versions of the “road” series of tires which is appreciated.

Confidence inspiring
Incredibly sticky, confidence inspiring. Wear very well considering their adhesion and quick steering.

Design/Grip!
At the Track or on the Street! Hands down the Best Motorcycle Tire I’ve used in forty years of riding Sport bikes.

Worth it for the price.
Bought Michelin Road 6 pair for my Kawasaki Z900 at 12000kms odometer reading in MARCH 2024. July 2025 completed 18000kms on road 6 tyres; odomoeter reading 30,000kms. Rear tyre lasts 18000kms hence ordered ROAD 6GT. Front tyre is still in good shape. Great and value for money MICHELIN.

Excellent tires
Excellent replacement tires for my 2016 FJ09 from the OEM Dunlops. Tire pressures maintained to factory specifications. High speed stability and confidence in cornering compared to original tires. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Poor Longevity
Tires were great, they had great grip in all situations it just didn’t have any longevity. I had to replace the rear tire after only 4000 miles
C, thank you for your feedback. The wear of a tire can vary depending on riding style, usage, load, riding conditions, and proper inflation. It is always recommended to take your bike in to a local dealer for inspection to see if there could be any underlying conditions.

Why are these loosing traction in the wet ?
I have a triumph 800 XRT and have had pilot 5's and wore them out with zero issues . Since having the Road 6 Pilots on the bike now I have had it step out and the traction control come on 5 times in 2000kms in the wet. The bike flicks out suddenly and the rear looses traction in the wet at a very slow 50kph in the rain. Is there such a thing as a faulty tyre ? This has happened even on the straights. Gives me the heebees when this happens
Bodie, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you are experiencing issues with your MICHELIN Road 6 tires. Please bring your bike to a local dealer for inspection or contact Michelin Consumer Care at 800-346-4098 to ensure you have an approved fitment for your year / make / model of motorcycle.
