The Market’s Best Grip*

The factors that determine a motorcycle tire’s sporty credentials include grip and manoeuvrability, as well as handling during changes of lean angle, under braking and when accelerating hard. MICHELIN came out on top in all of these areas in the MTC test*.

* According to a series of tests carried out by Motorrad Test Center in October 2016 at Boxberg et Neuhausen tracks (Germany) using a BMW S1000RR equipped with 120/70ZR17 and 190/55ZR17 tires, comparing the new MICHELIN Power RS with the following competitor tires: Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3, Dunlop Sportsmart 2, Continental Sportattack III, Bridgestone S21, Metzeler M7 RR.

No Sacrifice in Wet Grip**

The MICHELIN Power RS tire improves upon the already exceptional wet grip of the MICHELIN Pilot Power 3 tire by 3.5 seconds**. With MICHELIN 2CT (Dual Compound Technology) at the front and MICHELIN 2CT+ at the rear, MICHELIN Power RS tires deliver outstanding grip in dry and wet conditions alike.

**Based on internal tests in Fontanges, France in 2016 on a 2015 BMW S1000RR with tire sizes 120/70ZR17 (front) and 190/55ZR17 (rear), comparing MICHELIN Power RS with the MICHELIN Pilot Power 3 on a 1.2 km track. Results may vary according to the motorcycle and riding conditions.

Tyre review

Sam1111 - March 15, 2021

Got these tyres at the moment, Rear is pretty much gone after 1000k miles, front is ok. Grip is ok, It’s slipped out many times wet and dry. Manageable but still. I have Been using Hard street driving, no burnouts, but strangely the twi in the centre is coming up for replacement! I was Recommended these tyres by Michelin technical. Gsxr600L3.

j rode it 10500 km

kinhsh - October 12, 2020

j like to change types of tires for new experiences with my Honda VTR SP2. But this tire was the wise solution because lasted many kmrs ,grip at sudden front brakes was good and rear grip was good .And very important it is very comfortable .A compromise only at grip at slippery roads compare with a tire that last 5000 km as the racing tires.
