PILOT ROAD 2

DJ01 - December 20, 2020

I have had a few bikes now fitted with pilot road 2 tyres, I like the reassurance of a good tyre. The only disappointing thing is the depth of tread of the front tyre when new - 4.2mm! I don't know how this compares with other brands. I put my bike in for MOT this year and got an advisory that the tyres were worn. A check revealed that the front had 3mm left. So imagine my surprise when I checked the new one to find it only 1.2mm better than the old one! Other than that I am happy with the tyres and will buy again..

Best performing tire I've ever run

Motozoic - July 15, 2020

I'm on my 4th set of Road 2CTs and for good reason. The wear is excellent and the handling is great, despite having boat loads of torque on a Buell XB12Ss. I have ridden on these tires long range, dirt/forest service roads, slab, twisties, whatever you throw at them, they can handle it and still perform well despite being totally worn out.
