Tires wear down.
Stopping performance should not.

Even as they wear, MICHELIN® tires are built to maintain wet braking performance and handling throughout the life of the tire — because performance shouldn’ t depend solely on the depth of your tread.

Will You Stop In Time?

Compare the wet braking performance of worn MICHELIN® Premier® A/S tires with leading competitors.

You are traveling at 50 mph and must stop within 190 ft. to prevent an encounter with the obstacle ahead.

You are traveling at 35 mph and must stop within 95 ft. to prevent an encounter with the obstacle ahead.

*Even when half-worn, the MICHELIN® Premier® A/S tire still stops shorter on wet roads than leading competitors' brand-new tires.**

**Safe refers to wet braking, wet handling and hydroplaning resistance when tires are new and worn to 5/32" . All tires eventually wear out and should be replaced. Half-worn Premier tires are safe because of EverGrip Technology which combines an evolving tread with a high traction compound for enhanced wet-braking capabilities. Based on internal wet braking tests from 40 and 50 MPH versus new Goodyear® Assurance®Tripletred A/S tires in sizes 235/55R17 99H and P215/60R16 94V, new Bridgestone® Turanza Serenity Plus tires in sizes 235/55R17 99V and 215/60R16 95V; using the MICHELIN® Premier® A/S tires in sizes 235/55R17 99H and 215/60R16 95V buffed to 5/32" of tread on 2012 Cadillac CTS and 2013 Honda Accord vehicles. Actual on-road results may vary.
