Smooth and quiet
They are very smooth and quiet.

Happy with my purchase
Bought them from Costco Tire Center, definitely not cheap but after reading all reviews I decided to give them a try. Just have them installed a couple days ago. So far, so good, they seem to be quite and comfortable. Can't talk about performance or durability yet.

Exceptional Winter Tires
I purchased my first set of Michelin X-Ice snow tires in the autumn of 2014. I ran them each winter until last winter (2024), which was eleven years of use, and they still had usable tread, and were subsequently used for another vehicle. I purchased a new set this year (2025) because I was so impressed by their traction, performance, and lack of noise. They have tremendous grip in snow and ice. I try to avoid driving in snow, being retired, but sometimes for medical appointments and such, it cannot be avoided. I am so confident driving with these winter tires. They outperform the Michelin Primacy All-Season tires that I have, which are also impressive tires, and I am on my second set of them for a few years. You can't go wrong with Michelin. I would purchase no other brand.

Depuis le premier hiver je n’étais pas épatée par leur performance sur surface glacée. Ce matin il y avait de la glace et malgré le fait que je roulais doucement je n’arrivais pas à diriger ma voiture lors de freinage , la voiture dérapait . Les pires pneus que j’ai jamais eu (ça fait 50 ans que je conduis l’hiver à tous les jours) .

WARNING: Serious or fatal injury may result from tire failure due to underinflation or overloading. To ensure correct air pressure and vehicle load, refer to vehicle owner's manual or tire information placard on the vehicle. Serious injury or death may result from explosion of tire/rim assembly due to improper mounting. Only tire professionals should mount tires and they should never inflate beyond 40 psi to seat the beads. Before mixing types of tires in any configuration on any vehicle, be sure to check the vehicle owner's manual for its recommendations.

Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.
For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.
For speeds over 160mph (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
