Michelin should be ashamed
These tire came on my 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz. I was initially happy to see it arrived with Michelin tires. That has changed. They flat spot overnight and it takes a long time for them to get rid of the vibration. Dealership has road force balanced and said they had to match tire and wheel assembly to get tires to pass. Apparently , this is common issue with the Michelin tires. The Santa Cruz’s equipped with Kumho tires don’t have the “ride disturbances” like the Michelins do. What a disappointment.
2024Cruz, sorry to read you are experiencing this. We'd suggest having your local authorized Michelin retailer inspect the tires. Ask the dealer to call us while you are there so that we can get more details.

Significant issues on preconstruction roads
Tire to road harmonics dangerous. The tread design appears faulty relative to preconstruction crosscut road surfaces especially in snow and rain.
KS, the first step is to have the tires inspected by an authorized retailer in your area (preferably the selling dealer). Have the dealer contact us while you are there so that we can obtain more information.

Do not buy
I bought my new jeep in April of 2023, just hit 8000 miles and my tire had a tread bust. After reading some reviews I inspected the rest of my tires and notice break down on other tires. Worst tires ever!
Moi, sorry to read that a tire came out of service. The first step in the warranty process is to have the tire inspected by an authorized Michelin retailer. Ask the dealer to contact us while you are there so that we can get more information.

Surprised & Disappointed!
These Primacy LTX tires came on our 2021 Kia Telluride that we bought new. I recently noticed a puncture in the sidewall on one tire. It almost looks like the rubber split. It looks pretty deep but the tire is still holding air. This is my wife's car and she drives on the interstate a lot; Needless to say I'm concerned that this tire could burst at any moment. My wife says she hasn't hit anything that could cause this damage. Also, there isn't any damage to the wheel. After reading a lot of other reviews I'm compelled to think that this is a faulty tire design or quality escape from Michelin. Since this is a safety issue I have to replace this tire and given that our Kia is AWD, it looks like I'll be replacing all 4 tires that don't even have 30k miles on them. I had previously held Michelin in high regard but have lost confidence in them after this.
Echo 5 Tango, we certainly understand your concern. We would recommend having the tire inspected by an authorized Michelin retailer in your area, and have the dealer call us while you are there.

Great Service
Chris and his guys are first class top notch service

Something is not right with tires. Possible defect?
I purchased a new 2022 Kia Telluride Night Fall Edition on May of 2022. The Michelin Primacy LTX came standard with this package and look great on the vehicle. November 3rd of 2022 I was riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway when I stopped at an overlook. I was driving beside the curb at idling speed and the right front tire rubbed against the curb and the sidewall busted out. I thought, OK. That's on me. I hit / rubbed the curb. It still seemed strange that such a low no impact incident would blow the side wall out. The next morning I tried every tire place in Western, NC and they could not get the matching tire for me to get home the next morning. I drove to Asheville and spent about $250 buying a non-matching correct sized tire just to get me the 3 1/2 hours back home. Discount tire in Florence, SC was able to order the tire and I was there on Monday morning to get it fixed. After I drove my vehicle to work,I noticed that the tire didn't look the same. I check it and Discount Tire had installed a Primacy Tour. They made it right and within the week had the correct tire and made it right. It's worth noting that they rotated my tires and placed the new tire on the back right and I purchased the Road Hazzard warranty for the tires. On February 9th 2023 I was driving Eastbound on I-20 at exit 123. As I made the right turn onto the exit ramp my tire pressure indicator on my dash came on. I almost immediately felt that my back right tire was flat. I did not see, hear or feel that I hit anything. I pulled over at an abandoned service station and change the tire in the dark and in the pouring rain. I did not notice anything unusual about the tire that night. I stuck it in the back of the car and called Discount tire the next morning. Even though I couldn't find anything by casually looking at the tire, Discount tire showed me what looked like a puncture in the middle of the tread. Unfortunately, this could not be fixed. After about 3 days they got the tire in and replaced it. Thank goodness Road Hazzard covered it. Finally, on this past Thursday, Sept 7th 2023 I was driving on I-20 East a few miles past exit 5 in SC. In the left lane the tire pressure indicator again lit up on my dashboard. I continued driving slower in the right lane trying to make it to the next exit. The tire lost all air and I had to pull over and put the spare on. Again, I did not see, hear or feel anything that I could have possibly hit. There was not obvious damage on the outside of the tire but went I turned it around the inside tire wall had blew out similar to the first tire. When I replaced the tire this morning the tire tech felt around the inside of the tire wall and said that the wall was not strong enough. She pointed out that there were numerous bubbles along the inside of the tire wall. I don't know what else could cause the inside tire wall to just blow out like that. Hope this doesn't happen again. At this point I'm trying to decide if I need to replace all four tires to a different model.
Ronmansc, sorry to read of your disappointment. A team member will be in touch with you to gather some details.

Great Features on this product but... maybe a version 2
These tires 245/50R20 came installed in my 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited. I already have 40K miles on it, and the handling on those are pretty amazing, on highway and paved roads, handling is excellent on curves and braking, is a smooth quiet tire and very precise while driving dry surfaces. Last winter went thru light snow in NC, VA for an All-Season tire was excellent. My only concern with this tire is Hydroplanning, they are average on wet surfaces and I want to replace them soon with a better Michelin product, so I will need Michelin advice in order to do that.
JaimeMPR, thanks for taking the time to submit a reviews. One of our team members will be in touch to discuss other Michelin options for your vehicle.

Primacy LTX does not appear to be a good tire
Just bought a 2024 Santa Cruz (small pick-up) with these on it. First day, I barely scraped a sidewalk and the sidewall tore right through. I have never had that happen with any car or truck I ever owned or drove in my life. Then I happen to see others have the same issue with lack of durability! I need this resolved by Michelin.
D Dale, sorry to read that such a new tire was damaged. One of our team members will be in touch to see if we can help with this situation.

Sidewall tear less than 5000 miles
Purchase new car 3 months ago, the Primacy LTX was OEM tire. Failure due to sidewall tear, same as others have mentioned.
PJ. it's unfortunate a tire was damaged, especially with such low mileage. A member of our team will be in touch to get more information.
