LTX Trail TIRE REVIEW

These tires came on my 2023 Toyota Tundra which I purchased in mid May. Tires have worn down to 5/32s and I had only 19,000 miles on them. Considering I still had 4 moths of winter left in Wyoming on replaced them with another Brandi have had better luck with on my previous Tundra.

Poor puncture resistance

Came with new 2023 Tundra. In 8 months I have had 3 flats, all different tires. Drive on dirt and gravel roads mostly. 2 punctures unknown source, third was a small rock. Getting rid of these at 13,000 miles for different brand. Too bad as I was a fan of Michelin tires up until this. These are not off pavement tires.

Disappointed Tundra Owner

Came on 2022 tundra or. Tread life is horrible. I have 33k miles on them and they need to be replaced because they are just about at the wear bars and wet traction is non-existent. Will not be replacing them with michelin and will not buy michelin for any of my 4 vehicles.

Horrible tread life

The LTX Trail tires came on my 2022 Tundra TRD OR. I am now at 32.6k miles and they are almost to the wear bars and even more worn on the sides. Very disappointed in michelin. On road only. Will be replacing them with coopers sooner than expected. What happened to michelin? They used to make good tires. Guess quality is not their #1 any more.

Uneven wear

These tires came on my new tundra 2023. I’m at 23k miles and the tires are wearing terribly. On the outside of the tires they are getting uneven wear and the tires have been properly inflated and rotated. What a shame this Michelin tires will have to be replaced as it is getting worse

Good look and feel but wear out VERY quickly

Always been a Michelin fan so was happy to see that these were on my new tundra. 27k miles in and I’m already looking to replace them before winter. They wore out sooo fast. Truck hasn’t even been used for hauling or anything.

Only lasted 1.5 years and 20,000 miles

These LTX Trail's came stock on my 2022 Tundra SR5 Offroad. At my routine service at 18,500 miles, they had worn down to 5/32 by the dealership's measurements. I just passed 20,000 miles and they were barely touching Lincoln's head using a penny as a depth gauge. I went ahead and replaced them before they got completely slick. Pretty disappointing considering the great past experiences I've had with Michelin Defenders on other vehicles.

TREAD WEAR

THESE LTX TRAIL CAME ON MY 2022 TUNDRA I GOT ABOUT 18000 MILES ON THEM AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE IN THE RAIN ALREADY, NOT MUCH TREAD LEFT ON THE TIRES. WINTER THIS YEAR SHOULD BE FUN.

Not a good driving experience on new sequoia

On 2023 sequoia limited with trd off road. 5k miles on it. Here are thr problems 1. Cold weather 45 and less experiencing low frequency cabin vibration. Have twice wheel balanced at my Toyota dealer 2. Every small gravel sticks to the tire have noticeable driving impact at low speed Dealer says drive shaft or bearing is all new looks good.
