Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sidewall failure at 8k miles Came installed on a new 2018 Ford Fusion that has 8,000 miles and the sidewall has a bulge. Tires were just rotated/balanced at the dealer 2,000 miles ago.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I never expected these to do this I bought a 2017 Ford Fusion, and when I went in for an oil change, the guy said, you better get some new tires soon. I was dumb founded. I took pictures of all 4 tires, and wow, they were all cracked like crazy. Like they were 10 years old. Dry rotted. But, unfortunately They wanted to do little for any correction. 26,000 miles on the tires.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great ride, wear out quickly. OEM on my 2017 Suburban. Needed to be replaced before 40k miles. Surprisingly good in the snow...at least before they wore out. Somewhat disappointed in durability.

I drive over 200 miles daily in houston stop and go traffic. yes 200 miles because I do woodlands to downtown about 4 times daily. Tires have been excellent and I'm ordering another set. Who needs warranty when things perform great. thanks michelin for an outstanding product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Favorite, but no 22" dia tires for 14" wheels. My last set of Michelin Defenders Green-X tires lasted 60,000 miles and 7 years. This time I chose Michelin Energy Saver A/S Green X tires, for my now rarely used, 2003 Toyota Sienna Van. The van is so much nicer to drive with new tires, again quiet, smooth, comfortable in all weather conditions and MPG is up, especially on 45-55 mph zone backroads +5 mpg. This is my new favorite tire! The van gets only 19 mph around town (27 mpg now on the back roads with A/S tires), and with all the kids gone, I decided on a smaller daily driver I found a used 2000 Honda Insight 5sp. The factory tires it are are VERY NOISY, they've worn out quite quickly and were chosen for the car 18 years ago, i.e. old technology. Traction is ok, but not stellar, so I came here first, given the Energy Saver A/S MPG gains and ride on my Van. The factory Insight tire is a 165/65/14 that weighs 12 lbs, has a 22.5 inch diameter and is mounted on a streamlined 10.5 lb factory wheel. On the flats the car has gotten over 100 mpg. Around town, on these hills, it has gets a steady 58.5mpg over the last 4283 miles. The size and weight of tires, the high gearing, a super efficient hybrid engine, low coefficient of drag of the car, and how the car is driven all adds up to a great MPG. But I want a quiet, even more efficient ride, like I now have with the Energy Saver A/S tires on the van. The problem is the smallest lightest Energy Saver A/S is a 175/65/15 tire that weighs 15 lbs, has a 24" diameter and mounts on a 15" wheel, coming from 12lbs, 22.4" dia on a 14" special streamlined wheel. I've sourced new 7.7 lb 15" non-streamlined wheels that will offset the extra 3 lb Energy Saver A/S tire weight. Yet the extra tire diameter of +1.5 inches, 165/65/14 to 175/65/15, not only messes with the speedometer and mpg gauge, the car is geared so high from the factory, that especially in first, it will be even more difficult to take off on the often wet steep uphills where I live. I'm just wondering if there will be a 22" dia, 11-13 lb Energy Saver A/S tire for 14" wheels any time soon (nothing like that in the Defender series either), or do I sadly need to buy a set of 165/65/14s from the other guys? Again, If I have to drive, I want the best MPG. The Michelin Energy Saver A/S tires are the BEST tires I have ever owned, for all around comfort, wear, quiet ride and daily driving, and a BIG PLUS to MPG, which saves not only gas and money, but reduces my CO2 toll on the Global Climate Catastrophe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Lasting performance Original equipment on my Fusion Hybrid, these tires have lasted over 100,000 miles in four and a half years of highway and city driving. So yeah, I’m getting another set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wears good I drive about 15,000 miles a year. Bought the car new in 2014. It’s now 2018 and car has almost 80,000 miles with original tires. I’d say that’s pretty good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Wear - Stay Away I purchased a 2013 Buick Regal in February of 2013. It came with Michelins and I got 55,903 miles on the orginal set. I put a set of the Energy Saver A/S (235/50R17 96H) on in November of 2014. I now have 95,000 and the tires are wearing to the point they need replaced. The tires have been rotated at every oil change by the Buick Dealer which I purchased the car. I have been putting Michelins on all my vehicles for several years and have been very satisfied with the ride and performance till now. This may be the last set of Michelins that I ever purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honda Accord Hybrid This model of tire came on my Honda Accord Hybrid from new. It worked so well that when I scraped an old jagged curb while parallel parking and ripped a hole in the sidewall, I decided to put a new set on the car. The previous set had 35,000 miles on them and they were working great when the puncture happened. I drive a lot of highway miles at 75ish mph and the resistance to hydroplaning is great with this tire. Also, I love that this tire doe not have the "directional" tread pattern so I can rotate them the old-school way of crossing over. I believe this makes the tire last longer with the high crown that they put on most roads now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from energy saver I am at 90,000 and about a 1/16 before Lincoln's top of head will show. I drive without jamming on the gas or brakes every 10 seconds like the impatient "pylon" drivers that have to pass everyone weaving around drivers in all 4 or 5 lanes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tire Great tire came with the car! It's gonna turn 50,000 miles, and looking for a new set. Seen some of the comments here! (you use improper tire maintenance) This is a super tire~I still have alot of tread left, I could probably go another 20.000 miles.. I rotate the tires every oil change and make sure that they have the proper tire pressure! That is key~You learn these things being an over the road truck driver! Can't wait to buy my next set..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A/S Energy did not give promised mileage I purchased 4 Michelin A/S Energy tires on Nov 28, 2012. I was told by salesman what good tires they were and they recommended for my car that they would be a good long lasting tire for a lot of safe miles. I took their recommendation and only 33,000 miles later I was relpacing the tires because of the way they had worn and became unsafe to rotate. I felt that there should have been some type of warranty and credit towards the new ones that I purchased in April 2015. I was raised in a family that believed and trused in Michelin for over 50 years and the safe and good value that their tires represent. I just purchased 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. I am once again trusting that maybe my prior purchase was just a lemon, but I am trusting that I am driving with safe tires once again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They sound harsh on most roads They came on my 2014 Camry LE. I've already had to replace one tire due to a problem with the sidewall. They sound harsh and loud on most roads. The speed rating is much lower than I thought it would be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought this product again This is the second set of Energy Savers A/S on my Ford Fusion Hybrid. They are a great tire for a great car. I will say the down side has been the wear mileage. However, it would have gone to the warrantee limit if I ran it to the "wear bars". They have always given a great ride. Quiet and smooth running. Makes the car handle very well. Do rotate the tires faithfully, however. And have the balance checked every 15,000 miles. Tire pressure must be checked ever 3 mos. Great tires!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Really Pleasant Surprise These tires (P225/50R17 93V) came with my 2012 Fusion as original equipment. I am extremely impressed with the overall look and performance of these tires. In 30 years plus, I've driven many cars as an outside salesman and have never had any set of tires yield 68K miles! In fact, although not recommended, I only rotated them twice in their lifetime. When I recently researched them and discovered they are rated as a 55K warranty tire, I was impressed. I'm tire shopping now and will find a dealer willing to replace them with the exact model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! As always This is my second set of Michelin tires on this vehicle. The first set was just worn out after about 85k. I am an avid Michelin fan and only use Michelin tires on all of my vehicles. The Energy Saver AS on this car are good in all kinds of weather! The noise is not objectionable and the handling is great! I am looking for another 8-90k out of these tires and it will be time to buy a new car!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great gas milaege, but noisy I get 43-47 MPG with Energy A/S in 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Good tire life with 7/32 remaining 32,000 miles. However as the tires wore the noise is unbearable. If you don't mind annoying hum, great tires. Michelin Tech Dept. noise can be greatly reduced greatly w/o other sacrifices. Contact me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why don't new cars come with Michelins Five years ago I purchased a new car and recently I had to replace the original factory installed tires and I chose Michelin Energy Saver A/S. I immediately experienced that new car ride which was missing even when my car was new. The ride, agility was especially noticeable when maneuvering, and turning. An added bonus was that my mileage improved in city driving. If only I could have been driving on Michelins for the past five years.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy - Buying another set These tires came on my 2012 Ford Fusion when I purchased it new. During the last year I put 81,000 trouble free miles on these tires, many more miles than I've been able to get out of other brands. Probably could have stretched it a little longer, but I can't afford trouble on the highway. I'm happy. So, I've just put another set on my car and look forward them being the last set I buy for this car. I drive about 50% in stop and go Houston traffic and 50% on open Texas Interstates at 80 MPH.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tires: 97,000 on 2 sets We have had no trouble with 2 sets of these tires on a 2011 Fusion. 97,000 miles and we drive 2 miles of gravel each day, sometimes more gravel. The Michelins were worth the extra $150 or so versus most brands that I usually get just 35,000 miles out of.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not buy these tires!!! I purchase four Michelin (P225/50R17 93V SAVAS)tire in Augest of 2012 and as of now i have 23,000 miles on these tires. The problem is now they sound and drive like mud grip tires on a truck. These tires have been rotated and ballanced every 6,000 miles. Where I purchased these tires said that the problem was with the car not the tires, I have had the car checked out, and there was nothing found wrong with the car. I purchased Michelin tires because the car came with Michelin and did well with over 60,000 miles. These tires are bad and the dealer will not do enything about it.

When I started looking for another set of tires, the dealer tired to sell us something else, but why fix - what is not broke. these are the greatest tires......
