Frequently Asked Questions

How many miles will I get on my tires?

Many factors affect the life of your tires, such as tread compounds, construction features, driving habits, etc., making exact mileage impossible to predict. Consult your local authorized Michelin retailer for your specific needs.

Is my damaged tire covered by a Michelin warranty?

Take the tire to your local authorized Michelin retailer and have them properly inspect the tire. Tell the retailer what you are experiencing so he or she can diagnose the problem. Questions? Please contact Michelin Consumer Relations at 1-866-866-6605 from the retailer.

Important Service Life Information

Technical Bulletin: Service Life Information for Passenger Car and Light Truck Tires

Michelin recommends having passenger car and light truck tires, including spare tires, inspected regularly by a qualified tire specialist, such as an authorized Michelin® tire retailer, who will assess the tire’s suitability for continued service. Tires which have been in use for 5 years or more should continue to be inspected by a specialist at least annually.
