There are several ways to check for wear: You can either look for visible, excessive wear (and determine the issue by using our Tire Inspector Tool), you can perform the Penny Test to check proper tread depth, or you can check if the tread is worn down to the wear bar indicators (typically located in the circumferential grooves of the tread). On MICHELIN tires, you can find the location of the wear bar indicators around the tire by looking for a small Michelin Man at the edge of the tread.
If you find any tire damage, you may be able to determine the damage results by clicking here, but be sure to ask an authorized tire retailer to inspect your tire. Why? Because your tire could have unseen damage on the inside.
