Our family loves the road and so do these tires on the SUV we drive. 2 trips from Pennsylvania to Washington State, Vermont, Ohio, Illinois and lots of running around in Pennsylvania. We had good even wear in almost 3 years and over the miles the tires said they would make and they were still passed inspection before we replaced them for our next big trip.

These are my 2nd set of Michelin tires and I will buy nothing else because nothing else can compare. The gas mileage I get driving my Suburban w these tires are excellent, and I am pleased. The first vehicle I tried Michelin on was a 2001 Dodge Caravan, and I purchased the tires with 75,000 miles. When I sold my Caravan with 221,000 miles those Michelin were still on with @ least 4,000 miles left on them. I will always buy Michelin tires, and no other.

WARNING - Don't buy these tires unless you plan on keeping your truck for a LONG time!!!

I just fitted a brand-new set of Michelin X Radial LT2's onto my 2004 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 2500HD, replacing a set of X Radial LT's that finally wore down and had to go. When I went into the tire center with my old paperwork, I was surprised to see that I still had the original receipt for the tires I was replacing, and that I had purchased them 6 years and 3 months ago, totaling right at 90,000 miles. I tried to justify replacing them last December (2012) but they just had too much tread left to justify the rush.

Also amazing was that I never had a flat tire, needed a front-end alignment, or did anything more than an occasional balance and rotation. I certainly got my money's worth out of that last set, which is as good a recommendation that can possibly be made. My worry is now I don't know if I will be keeping this truck as long as my new tires should last, but I could think of worse problems to have.

Dry or wet, highway or city, commuting or towing - these tires are the best bet for your truck.

                          • You need to know your vehicle's options to find out the original size of the tires for your vehicle because automobile manufacturers often use different wheel and tire sizes for different variations of a specific vehicle.

If you do not know your vehicle's options, check one of these places:

1. The original sales invoice or window sticker when you bought the vehicle.

2. Your vehicle's Owner's Manual, which will sometimes identify your vehicle's options.

3. Look on the vehicle itself. Some vehicles have a decal or lettering that indicates the options located on the side or rear of the vehicle.
                          • Find the exact tire quickly using your tire size. Check your owner's manual or tire sidewall to find the required specifications.

Knowing your tire size can help save time at the tire retailer. It also enables you to make an informed tire purchase.

You can find your vehicle's original equipment tire size in one of the following places:
1. • You can determine your tire type by looking at the tire's designation on the sidewall of your tire. The following describes the differences between the tire type designations:

P-Metric: A uniform designation of tire sizes in metric measurements. A typical P-Metric tire is P205/70R14 93S.

European Metric: This system was a conversion of the numeric system from inches to millimeters. The aspect ratio appears in the size designation in most cases where it is other than 82. A typical European Metric tire is 185/70R14 88S

Light Truck-Metric: This system is used for light truck tires, and it mirrors the P-Metric system used for passenger tires. A typical LT-Metric tire is LT245/75R16 120R.

Light Truck High Flotation: This type is for light truck tires with lower sidewalls and wider treads that yield better traction on surfaces such as sand and soft soil found in watery, off-road situations. A typical tire is 31X10.50R15 LT LRC
