A unique self-supporting construction that locks together for greater rigidity when traction is needed most, allowing the use of more sipes for adverse road conditions (wet and snow) without giving up the handling and wear performance.
Sunflower oil additive in tread compound helps provide increased traction at low temperatures for enhanced braking and handling in wet conditions and better overall performance in snow. |

Comments about Primacy MXM4:
Had these tires for 1000 miles now and I love them. Quiet, smooth and great in the rain. Not worried about tread life or gas mileage. More concerned with handling and noise and they are excellent on both counts.

Comments about Primacy MXM4:
My 2010 Prius came with Brigestone tires which I was very pleased with. When shopping for replacements I checked all the tire reviews and the Michelin Primacy MX M4 reviews were even a little better than the OEM Bridgestone tires. I decided to go with the reviews and have no buyers remorse to date. I only have approximatly 3000 miles on the new tires so far. I live in SW Florida so will only be interested in the wet tire performance (no snow!)
I can only anticipate the tires will wear as well as the Brigestones at this point.

Comments about Primacy MXM4:
These tires are worth the money. I've previously had Yokohama, which were so noisy I took them back for a set of Continental, which were quieter, and lasted 53K, but these Michelins are by far and above the quietest tires I have ever driven on. Wet traction, stopping, cornering - in all conditions they perform flawlessly. I live in AZ, so I don't drive in snow, so I can't comment on how they handle in the white stuff, nor do I care.
