Comments about Latitude X-Ice XI2:
Use on 2010 VW Jetta Wagon TDI. Bought tires to improve winter traction on this FWD vehicle (as I spent 20 years with AWD). These were worth the money in terms of performance. Grips the road well in snow, slush, ice and rain while remaining quiet and comfortable on dry pavement. Very nice combination of characteristics in a winter tire.
As I was about to have them removed for replacement with my all-seasons for summer, I noticed splits have developed in the outside of the tread (or bottom of sidewall). Tires were purchased in Nov 2011 and have been maintained and stored properly. I have TPMS and tires have been rotated every 5000 miles, balanced as required. If I had hit a curb hard, I would accept blame for the issue but all four tires exhibit splits. I am making a warranty claim for exchange.
Other than the large cracks (1 or 2 per tire) issue, I've been very pleased and I'm hopeful that Michelin will be able to ID what's happened with this set of tires. I am going to get the Primacy MXM4 next as the reviews are very promising.

Comments about Latitude X-Ice XI2:
Yes, they really work. I own a 2012 Honda Odyssey. I had these tires mounted on our family minivan (front wheel drive only). I was afraid that I should have gone with an AWD minivan for better traction. I was wrong...a front wheel drive vehicle with these tires is more than enough. My wife and I were amazed at how well these worked. It was nearly impossible to break traction (even with the traction control turned off). I would recommed these tires to anyone who commutes/drives on winter highways. We used them in a variety of conditions: 2" of slush, ice, 5" of powder, and snow packed roads. They kept us safe! This same winter I almost lost my 4X4 truck with Toyo tires on the same roads I was driving my van. Thanks Michelin Man! I will only mount Michelin's on my vehicles. I want the best protection/chances for my family.

Comments about Latitude X-Ice XI2:
I really feel good having the tires in the winter.
my car feels planted to the cold asphalt.
Your car will handle differently. But the traction is worth it. Braking requires more brake pedal effort though.
