      Comments about LTX M/S:

Replaced the Fortera HL that came as OEM on my Pilot and I was blown away. Immediately I could tell they were MUCH quieter and softer feeling, like riding on a cloud. I was actually impressed to actually feel that the rubber is softer on this tire, yet has a long treadwear rating. It was easier to turn the wheel and small bumps were less noticeable. I almost went with the Crosscontact tires, but I wanted more traction in the winter and wet weather. I thought these would be slightly noisier, but it wasn't the case at all! A less important detail but a nice feature is how these tires look. The sidewalls are smooth and the shoulder tread gives a more rugged look. It was a pain to dress my previous tires with all of the groves, but these are so much easier and look fantastic! Good tip is to always use a water-based dressing to prevent dry-rot. Best tires money can buy and are actually cheaper because they last a lot longer!

        Comments about LTX M/S:

I have used these tires forever-- The set I just changed was the LTX M/S on my silverado. They went 132,000 miles, 7 years without so much as a flat or having to add air. I can't believe the quality for me.. I put a new set on and away we go..

          Comments about LTX M/S:

I had my second set of LTX M/S on my 2003 Toyota Highlander. On a recent trip to Florida I needed to take my vehicle in for service to a local Toyota dealer. Since about 70,000 miles I've noticed many hairline cracks around the rims of the wheels. I brought the vehicle to where I purchased the tires. He said as long as the cracks don't widen it's O.K. to continue using them. My first set went for 101,000 miles before I changed them with no cracks whatsoever. The service department at the Toyota dealer pointed out to me that the tires had cracks all along the outer wall right up to the thread. At this point the tire had 105,000 miles with useable tire left. I immediately replaced them with the LTX M/S 2. Will the same thing happen with these tires also? Time will tell.
