2008 BMW 335. Tires are 18 months old, less than 20K miles. Rear tires. 1 catastrophic failure (blow out) and 1 with cords showing necessitating replacement. My car is 100% mechanically sound with no issues. I have all my service done at the dealship (or stealership depending on your perspective). I do not spin the tires, do burnouts, hit curbs and avoid potholes. These tires should have lasted much longer than the did. I have photos to prove and would support a class action lawsuit for a defective product.

                    Comments about Pilot Sport PS2:

I currently own three vehicle, two Mercedes sedans and a F-250 Ford truck. When the OEM tires needed to be replaced, I read the reviews and went with Michelin. The first and foremost difference would be the noticeable reduction in road noise! Second would be better wet road traction and third would be longevity. There are cheaper tires, but, like most products, the premium you pay up front for Michelins eliminates the need to keep replacing sub-standard tires.

These tires are magnificent. The grip, handling and braking is simply fantastic. Not to mention, i'm above 32k miles and just now buying 2 front PS2's. The rear PS2's have a considerable amount of tread left.
I think me and the ZR1 will burn those babies off for a little fun and to expedite the purchase of 2 more rears. I do want to try to keep the tread wear as even as i can. I'm sure Michelin will appreciate that....
