              Comments about Pilot Super Sport:

Presently have 4000 miles on my M5 and tires do well in warm weather. Car has lots of torque and can be a handful in wet weather. These tires do not like cold pavement so things get worse in winter. Forget about snow or ice, you better change tires or get a second car. I switch to my X1.
Why don't you make X ice tires available as run flats? Forces me to use tire brands which I don't like.

              Outstanding Tire ...

                    Comments about Pilot Super Sport:

Just bought a set for my wife's car, since I love how they are doing on mine. I drive a 2003 Infiniti M45 and the 245/45-18's Super Sport's are an excellent option for the stock 7.5" wide wheels.

They have worn about as much as I though they might - at 22k miles, they are down to about 3/32" to 4/32" or so, and will need replacing very shortly (I like to change before getting to the legal 2/32 mark).

On my wife's 2011 Acura TSX, four 245/45-17 Super Sport tires were mounted today and my wife is totally pleased! The Acura OEM tires (225/50-17 Michelin Pilot MXM4) simply do not compare. Yes, they lasted about 28k miles to the 4/32" mark, but those tires were quite mediocre in wet weather handling and braking, and darted all over the road on the highway with rain grooves (even when new).

The Super Sport is an outstanding replacement! The better tracking and handling are amazingly obvious, and the dartiness has been totally tamed. Yes, they are a bit noisier than the OEM tires, but that trade-off is well worth it.

                          Comments about Pilot Super Sport:

I just bought my second set of PSS tires for my Lexus IS350C. I had about 25,000 miles on them, which is good considering I can't rotate the tires due to the size difference between front and rear. I didn't have any handling issues as the tires aged, and I didn't notice much difference in noise.

This tire is outstanding in the dry or wet. Hopefully, I get another 25,000 miles out of these!
