              Comments about LTX A/S:

I bought my 2011 Tundra in October of that year and it has these tires on it. Needless to say, they've not held up at all - the truck now has 22,000 miles on it and it's unsafe to drive in any weather conditions other than dry. I nearly wrecked on the interstate last week after a rain.
Most unfortunate that my dealer says nothing will be done until the tires are down to 2/32s - they're between 4 and 5/32s now and I'm very uneasy about driving on them...
Don't see myself buying these again. Very disappointed.
I'll be surprised if this review shows up - tried to post one last week and it disappeared...thanks Michelin.

                    Comments about LTX A/S:

I am very disappointed in these tires. My 2011 Toyota Tundra has just turned 22,000 miles and I now have between 4 and 5/32s of tread left on all four tires. I was told that there is a lower "dealer grade" tire that is put on some vehicles, but I have to question why the only information I have recieved and can access via this site show that the LTX is supposed to have a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty.

Like the previous reviewer, I have had rotations completed every 5,000 miles per the Toyota recommended service interval and keep the tires properly inflated.

I'd appreciate some follow up on this - my dealer has indicated and the warranty states that nothing will be done until the tires reach 2/32s of tread. I simply cannot continue to drive my truck until that point - it is unsafe NOW due to lack of traction and control!

I have a 2004 F150 4x4 Supercab. Within 300 miles one of the OEM tires (not Michelin) blew a sidewall in the back country. I replaced the original tires with these and probably drive in four wheel off road 15-20% of the time. The Michelins have been superb, and the sidewalls survive all the threats of off road driving.

I have had two flats in ten years, one at seventy mph on an interstate and managed to get off the side of the highway without destroying the rim. The tire did not survive.

The other flat was in the back country of Death Valley and the tire was repairable.

As far as I am concerned these are the best truck tire available. The ten ply manages to avoid a lot of problems, and the three ply sidewalls are a benefit when driving off road.

I will always come back to these tires.

I am looking at towing an RV that is close to the max for the original weight issues for my F150 and I would appreciate some info from the car team.
