Got these tires as part of the Ford Focus Titanium edition. The first thing that I noticed is the noise with those tires. The noise has subsided after ~5000 miles. I had my first low pressure warning after a brief rain storm in CA. Had to put some air in it, but it is almost impossible to find reference table for proper psi for hotter climates. I have the feeling that those tires are the reasons that my gas milage sucks. I am driving totally defensive and almost to the point that I push the car and still the fuel consumption is at >32mpg. FOR A 2014 CAR!!!

These tires are an absolute nightmare on Michigan roads in the winter. I LEASED this car and had to buy a set of All Season tires 8 months into a lease after being stuck for 2 hours in the snow on Christmas Day. Months later, the potholes killed the All Season tires and I had to put these back on the car. Now, heading into another Michigan winter (Ford is headquartered here - they KNOW better), I am having to buy another set of tires - this time, snow tires, because the car is absolutely undriveable in temps under 40 degrees. But, of course, they don't TELL you that when you purchase or lease the car. Ford's response? It's in the paperwork you received that the tires aren't for temps under 40 degrees. They got snotty about it - as though a 50+ year old woman should know all about low profile tires and this ridiculous winter issue. My last Focus was a little tank in the snow and I absolutely loved it. THIS car, with these tires, has been an absolutely WAY too expensive, ridiculous lesson in tires and wheels - and I can't wait to be able to get rid of it.

                    Very poor snow performance

                    Comments about Pilot Sport 3:

I must agree with the poor snow performance of this tire on the ford focus, it really is quite dissatisfying. I too experience less than a 1/2 inch of snow and the vehicle refused to move. With traction control enabled the system did exactly what it was designed to do: Hunted for traction with a brief turning of one tire, then the other, then back to the first and so on. Unfortunately this makes it nearly impossible to get moving and so disabling traction control allowed the tires to slip and after a good deal of effort, on occasions I was able to move. This is not an isolated case since it happens each time the snow falls. I would also not agree that performance in the rain is good,,, acceptable perhaps, but not good. Purchasing a dedicated set of winter tires is also not an option either. At this time I am reviewing all-weather versions various tires. Coincidentally I too have a 2010 fusion hybrid, and the Michelins on that car are fantastic in the snow and I have zero complaints with them.
