        Failed & Horrible

              Comments about Energy LX4:

Absolutely failed and expensive technogoly. My tires lasted for little over 25K while warranted for 36K. I did tires rotation, balancing and even alignment regularly, even if didn't last as warranted. Bad choice of vehicle just because of type of tyres and wheels. Michelin should compensate some cost to all customers.

              Tires are a bad design

                    Comments about Energy LX4:

Michelin - I have always trusted your tires. However, this tire was a bad design and continues to not last as expected. We have a 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring that requires the PAX tire. All maintenance, including tire rotations and care, was always performed at our local Honda dealer on schedule. We are at 96,188 and have been told that we will need another set of tires. This will be our third complete set. The first set lasted 33,693 miles, but were so bad that our only local dealer would not let us drive out with them on. The second set lasted 30,553 miles before we were told we had to change them by our dealer at 64,246. Now at 96,188 we are being told that our tires need to be replaced again, so they lasted only 31,942 miles. The tires are supposed to be guaranteed 36,000 miles - which of course is confusing since the web page for these tires shows both a 50K warranty and then a 36K warranty. So, each time, the tires are not lasting to at least 36,000 miles.

The worst part is that the LX4 PAX tire can only be mounted and dismounted with special machinery that only one business, our dealer, has here in our area. Each time we are forced to buy tires, it costs us $1300 for tires and labor to put them on. Is there no other option? Can you do nothing?

                    Horrible tire

Brought the Michelin LX4 tires for our Honda Odyssey and we are very dissatified with our purchase. We've gotten 26,500 miles off these tires and they are bald and displaying cracks. With the type of money that we paid for these tires one would expect they would at least last the lifetime of the tire (50k). Very upset!!
