              Cracking in tread

                    Comments about Pilot MXM4:

Have 17,000 miles on a Ford Fusion and there are distinct cracks on the tread blocks. In many places, pieces of the rubber have been thrown from the tire. Dealer says that there is no safety hazard for a tire to chunk off, but this is hard to believe. Bought new 3/2010

I had these tires installed on my 1993 Jaguar XJS about 8 weeks ago. I've had this are since 1999 and been through 4 sets of tires (all were Michelin except one). When I pulled out of the garage and turned the corner I immediately felt a great improvement in handling and ride. I've them up to 85MPH, tested them with sudden stop, hard corner, and torrential rain (I live in South Florida). All of these experiences were improved with this tire over any i've had on this car before.
