mostly highway driving with a 2012 chev cruze. Braking is excellent. tire wear is superior to any tire I have owned. I run Michelin A/T2 on my dodge ram, but I have 100,000 miles on these pilot tires. they were rotated approx. every 8,000 miles. they still have tread but winter is coming. my only complaint, they are not the best on icy conditions, but you can't have everything. I am buying another set tomorrow.

                    Comments about Pilot MXM4:

I had these tires for my new Acura TL 2012. I do strict maintenance in dealership only. My 1st tire got flat after only 2000 miles. I thought it must be a nail. There was in fact no nail but some bubbles and could not be repaired. Tire life is 50K but when I called the manufacturer, they said its only if the threads go bad !! Had to change it for almost 400 bucks (including labor, balancing, disposal etc). The second one got bad at 15000 miles. Same situation, no nail but bubble. I maintain my car, tire pressure, servicing perfectly. Again I had to replace spending the similar amount of money. All these warranties are fake. Cost wise, this tire is not worth for the value. Its not what it claims.

                    Watchout for roadforce!

                          Comments about Pilot MXM4:

My original issued pilots lasted 38,000 miles, not great, but dry-rot and cracking after 6 years made it necessary. I wasn't confident in taking the premier a/s plunge, so I opted to go with the old faithful pilots again. While waiting in service, I was informed by the dealer that one of the new front tires had about 50 lbs. of roadforce and they would have to go get another. OK! Glad you caught that, right? Well, I left with 4 new tires, balanced and aligned, but not really liking the ride, with subtle vibration at average speed, and increasing at high speed and braking. After 2 weeks, with no improvement, and maybe 40% loss of fuel economy, I took the car back in to Cadillac. To my surprise, they needed to replaced both rear tires due to roadforce. Noticed immediate difference! Rides like a DTS should. I wouldn't stick with Michelin if I didn't trust them with my life, but make sure you are vigilant, and get the quality your are putting out the money for! We went through 7 tires to get 4 that were acceptable. I'm hoping that all is good now.
