        Comments about Latitude X-Ice XI2:

I bought 4 of these tires the night before a snowstorm locally and since mounting them, I've traveled through ice, sleet, and a snowstorm that fell 1-2" an hour and everyone was off the road everywhere - I mean, it was horrible out! But I'm really pleased with how well they have performed for me. I originally went to Mavis to get a different brand of tire altogether and all they had in inventory in my size at the time was the Michelin. They were more expensive than I wanted to spend. But I'm glad I did - they are great tires! Even better than my Blizzaks were. (can't believe I'm saying that because I was stuck on them for years)

            Comments about Latitude X-Ice XI2:

These tires work exceptionally well in snow and ice. I did find a problem though...They work so well that I forget I'm driving on slick roads. I find myself driving too fast for the conditions when I enter a corner and feel a slight tire slip. The good news is that these tires do NOT just start sliding and continue sliding but they regain their grip as soon as I reduce power. They tend to make up for poor driving. I travel on a number of dirt/gravel roads and even in mud they are great.
Safe, secure on the worst ice and snow packed roads. This is my first use of X-Ice and they are at least equal to the Blizzaks I have on my other car.

FANTASTIC Winter tire for Lake Tahoe. Third season on my Lexus GX470. I have pulled other AWD cars when they could not climb the hills in my neighborhood with these tires. Wear is unbelievable and they are quiet. PLEASE don't change a thing !!
