            Comments about Latitude X-Ice XI2:

FANTASTIC Winter tire for Lake Tahoe. Third season on my Lexus GX470. I have pulled other AWD cars when they could not climb the hills in my neighborhood with these tires. Wear is unbelievable and they are quiet. PLEASE don't change a thing !!

                  Comments about Latitude X-Ice XI2:

This will be my third winter using these tires. They perform very well. They are quiet and hold the road in icy conditions very well. I have 6,000 miles on them at this point so will be rotating them when I have them put on the first week in November. I usually take them off around the first of May.

                  Worried about repaired reliability

                        Comments about Latitude X-Ice XI2:

Four new Ice2's were installed on an AWD Honda CRV in Boise in February in preparation of driving to Alaska. Tires seemed to perform well on 3000 mile drive with about 1500 miles of compact snow and ice covered roads. Coldest temp encountered was -23F. Unfortunately ran over something in the snow in Whitehorse, YT causing a flat. Tire was patched but since then seems to show some bulging near repair location. Tire had less then 2000 miles but can not trust it for return drive from Alaska back to the lower '48 so purchased another to match. Tire repair shop in Whitehorse said that Michelins are prone to puncture flats but not sure if that was because he did not sell Michelins or not. Flat occurred at an intersection and may have been caused by a metal sign post knocked over by some other driver and then hidden in the snow based upon cut in tread and scrapes on the sidewall.
