Tire Highlights

Variable thickness sipes provide additional biting edges in low–grip conditions to improve wet and snow traction, but lock together in dry conditions to provide crisp handling and longer treadwear.

Unique biting edges in the grooves grip snow for better acceleration and braking in snowy conditions.

Helio compound with sunflower oil helps to increase traction at low temperatures, while extreme silica technology provides exceptional wet grip.

Asymetric tread pattern and Variable Contact Patch 2.0 design result in strong dry performance combined with long tread life.

      Dissapointing Tread Life

Comments about Pilot Sport A/S 3:

I have had several sets of these tires on several Jaguars - with great results until my last set. I only got 15,000 miles out of tires that normally go well beyond the 45,000 warranty. My driving is a mix of freeway and in-town.

I am very surprised the last set went so fast. They replaced a set that went 55,000 miles.

What has changes about these tires?

I have always used Michlens on everything. The dealer talked me into Brid/turanz Serenity plus tires with a money back guarantee. The tires flat spotted when COLD for about 2 miles, and at high speeds over 100 MPH would vibrate very hard. I instslled the Pilot AS3s all vibrations were gone cold start smooth, 100 to 155 MPH limiter are smooth and very quite. Will NEVER buy anything else again. PS. pulled the Bridgestones after 5,000 miles.

Purchased tires after reading all the websites and they sounded perfect. They did do a great job through the winter, but after 10k two tire need replaced, and 4k later the other two. Car was aligned at purchase, and tire were rotated at the next oil change. I wish I could say my wife races ever weekend, but just back and forth to work. The OEM tires made to 40k.
