I put these tires on a 2003 Passat W8, that is a vehicle known for eating tires.

The last set of Kuhmo Ecsta Platinum LX lasted for 16,000 miles and they were far gone, and they never had traction in snow.

So far (5000+ miles) these MXM4's have outstanding traction wet, dry and snow. They are quiet and smooth and make the car feel like new.

I would rate them 5 stars if I was far enough into the miles to know how long they will last.

I live in Florida and have upgraded my 2001 Mercedes C320 tires from the MXV4 to the MXM4. I have currently driven 7,000 miles on my new tires and can tell you that I am not one bit disappointed. The MXM4's hugs the road as stated in the many websites I've conducted my research. This is a much more improvement to the MXV4 and to the Continental ContiProContact. The handling and noise level is superb. I gotta admit that, at times, I kick it up to 90+ mph and have felt so safe driving at such speed. The moral of this....GET THESE TIRES!!

Wow, awesome change for BMW330i

I had run flats on my BMW330i and they had a horrible ride and were super noisy around town and on the highway. I changed my tires to these MXM4's and wow, I have a new car!!! The car still corners very well but now it is smooth on the highway and super quiet. I had no idea what a nice car I actually had. I have put 500 miles on these and wow, I love them. I waited two years to put these on and actually thought about selling my car because it was so annoying to drive. Now I love my car. Get rid of your runflats, replace them with these and don't look back!!!

WARNING: Serious or fatal injury may result from tire failure due to underinflation or overloading. To ensure correct air pressure and vehicle load, refer to vehicle owner's manual or tire information placard on the vehicle. Serious injury or death may result from explosion of tire/rim assembly due to improper mounting. Only tire professionals should mount tires and they should never inflate beyond 40 psi to seat the beads. Before mixing types of tires in any configuration on any vehicle, be sure to check the vehicle owner's manual for its recommendations.

DANGER: Never mount a 16" diameter tire on a 16.5" rim.

DANGER: Never mount a 17" diameter tire on a 17.5" rim.

Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.

For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.

For speeds over 160km/h (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
