        Solid Choice for Most Drivers

              Comments about X-Ice:

Rather quiet, smooth riding, good handling & long lasting (I got 8+ winters out of them, with at least several more winters remaining). My only complaint is that they weren't the best in deep snow, nor hilly inclines (ie. they seemingly weren't able to dig all that much, like the more agressive but also very noisey & short lasting snow tires do). But the other pluses far outweigh this minus in my case, but probably not everyones. Bottom line is that they exceeded my expectations in virtually all areas, hence I just purchased 4 of the probably even better Xi2's (it was truly a no-brainer), for another vehicle that we now own, having sold our previous Honda Odyssey, along with the well used but still good Michelin snows that went with it. So a great winter tire for the highway, but possibly less so for unplowed hilly back roads.

Had 2 sets of Xice tires for about 6 years - excellent in snow and ice. did wear down a little quicker than a typical tire. but worth it for the safety.

I purchased a set of Ice-X tires for my wife's car and found them to be excellant, in fact they are so good that I left them on her car year round. No better traction tire available.

                          Thanks, Dean Huey
