              Comments about Latitude Tour:

I had 78,000 miles on these things and a lot more to go but I thought it was best for me to change now as I have a long mile summer planned. The offer now is to good to turn down. These have performed top shelf so I just bought the exact same ones for the same car, 2010 Ford Escape. You will not be sorry with these. I do not write a lot of reviews but I had to on this one.

                    Comments about Latitude Tour:

This is my first set of Michelin tires. After studying reviews, consumer reports and seeking opinions from several respected sources, I elected to purchase the Michelin brand to replace a worn set by another manufacture for my 2006 Toyota Tundra. The previous tires were great but only lasted around 45K miles so my goal was to find a tire that was more durable without sacrificing performance. I narrowed my search down to two brands. Honestly, I could not find a bad review on the Michelin tires and every owner I talked to praised them. Michelin seems to be the benchmark for tire makers. So far, I'm very happy with my choice. I drove through the worst rain storm I've ever experienced yesterday and they were very sure-footed. The only down side is they seem to provide a stiffer ride than my previous tires with a little more road noise. Of course, my previous tires were well worn and I'm probalby observing them a little more critically since these are new and I paid a premium price. Steering seems to be quicker and rolling resistance easier yet the tires feel very grippy at the right times. I've only had them for about 500 miles. Curious to see how long they last and if performance changes after extended use. I'm holding off on the five star rating due to the harder ride and slight increase in road noise.

                          Comments about Latitude Tour:

2005 Acura MDX put Michelin Cross Terrains on at 30,000 and remained in service up 105,000. Replaced with the Latitude Tours which essentially replaced the Cross Terrains, first few thousands miles have again demonstrated an excellent quality tire in all performance categories. I appreciate purchasing tires and knowing they will remain in service for a number or years and miles. I am convinced
