Split fitments - If your vehicle has tires of different sizes on the front versus the rear axles, your tires cannot be rotated as recommended. Therefore, the mileage warranty on each rear tire will cover half the number of miles as the standard mileage warranty for that particular tire line.
ZP (Zero Pressure) tires - The maximum mileage warranty for ZP tires is 30,000 miles.

Michelin's New Defender® Tire Boasts 90,000 Mile Warranty

Low rolling resistance has become the new clarion call from car manufacturers hoping to eke out every last 1/10th of a mile per gallon for EPA ratings, but Michelin's new Defender tire takes a different tack, claiming the highest mileage warranty yet: 90,000 clicks, up to 21,000 more miles than competitors.

Get tires. Easy! Rebate. Not so much!

I've been a Michelin customer for over 20 years. I've put Michelin tires on EVERY car I have ever owned. But, I have had the worst experience with Michelin trying to get my REBATE!! Their rebate form says one thing, but when you call to inquire, you are given all kinds of excuses as to why they can't honor it!!

HAVE OVER 6000 MILES ON TIRES THEY SEEM TO BE WEARING OK SO FAR. USED THEM IN SNOW AND RAIN GOOD THEIR BUT THEY MAKE LOT OF ROAD NOISE. WILL NOT BUY TWO MORE I ALL WAYS HAD GOOD LUCK WITH MICHELIN AND STILL THINK THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY. THE DEFENDER IS JUST TO NOISY.fIRST I THOUGH IS WAS WHEEL BEARING OR DRIVE SHAFT BUT NO IT CAME BACK TO THE TIRES. THEY ARE NOT MORE PRICEY ER THEN MOST BRANDS BUT STILL A GOOD -NOISY TIRE. SO I WILL NOT FALL A SLEEP WITH THEM THAT'S FOR SURE.

Just put 4 Defenders on my '96 Honda Civic yesterday, and had I been blindfolded, I couldn't have identified my car when I first drove away. Unbelievably quiet and smooth, exceeding all expectations that I had for these tires. As always, time and adverse driving conditions will tell the whole story, but so far I am blown away.

WARNING: Serious or fatal injury may result from tire failure due to underinflation or overloading. To ensure correct air pressure and vehicle load, refer to vehicle owner's manual or tire information placard on the vehicle. Serious injury or death may result from explosion of tire/rim assembly due to improper mounting. Only tire professionals should mount tires and they should never inflate beyond 40 psi to seat the beads. Before mixing types of tires in any configuration on any vehicle, be sure to check the vehicle owner's manual for its recommendations.

DANGER: Never mount a 16" diameter tire on a 16.5" rim.
DANGER: Never mount a 17" diameter tire on a 17.5" rim.

Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.

For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.

For speeds over 160km/h (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
