Split fitments - If your vehicle has tires of different sizes on the front versus the rear axles, your tires cannot be rotated as recommended. Therefore, the mileage warranty on each rear tire will cover half the number of miles as the standard mileage warranty for that particular tire line.
ZP (Zero Pressure) tires - The maximum mileage warranty for ZP tires is 30,000 miles.

July 2010 I bought a brand new Dodge Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel with a set of Michelin LTX A/S 265R17 tires. Over the past year I have noticed a spider web effect of cracks from the rim to the middle of the side walls on all four tires. During my annual vehicle sticker inspection the mechanic informed me my tires were extemely cracked and I really needed to have them checked. Had checked only can pro rate tire. My complaint is the side walls are defected from poor materials and workmanship. I don"t think I should have to pro rate tires
wear for material defects.
Why should it cost me hundreds on dollars when I should be riding on good tires with a sixty miles warranty....
Replace my tires with no charge to me, make me a happy camper.........

I was looking through my glove compartment and found a reciept for the michelins on my jeep cherokee and to my amazement, I bought them 5 years and 53,000 miles ago.....I promptly got out of the jeep and proceeded to examine the tires and they looked like they still have a lot of tread left! We live in Pa. and get all kinds of weather and these are the best overall tires I have ever owned. I remembered that the tires were more expensive when I bought them, but now I won't buy anything else.......

i have used micheline tires on my car and truck for at least 12 years,they have a great ride,great brakeing ,good wear and on wet grass or ground they slip some what

WARNING: Serious or fatal injury may result from tire failure due to underinflation or overloading. To ensure correct air pressure and vehicle load, refer to vehicle owner's manual or tire information placard on the vehicle. Serious injury or death may result from explosion of tire/rim assembly due to improper mounting. Only tire professionals should mount tires and they should never inflate beyond 40 psi to seat the beads. Before mixing types of tires in any configuration on any vehicle, be sure to check the vehicle owner's manual for its recommendations.

DANGER: Never mount a 17" diameter tire on a 17.5" rim.

Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.

For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.

For speeds over 160km/h (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
