Michelin Is Driving America's Safety
Local emergency teams nominated for Michelin
Michelin's Driving America's Safety Program will supply MICHELIN® LTX® A/T2 light truck tires to 50 volunteer firefighter and EMS personnel across the US, ensuring their first response teams have safe and reliable tires on an emergency vehicle for their community.
As part of our continued commitment to social and corporate responsibility, Michelin invited community members to play a role in the process by nominating their local emergency response team for the tire giveaway.
Firefighters and EMS personnel across the country respond to more than 500,000 emergency calls every day and communities rely on quick arrival to medical emergencies, fires and rescue efforts. However, numerous fire departments and EMS squads across the country face financial difficulties when it comes to maintaining equipment.
As the safest, most durable light truck tire in its class, the MICHELIN LTX A/T2 allows emergency first responders and consumers alike to get the most out of their vehicles.
