SCORE BIG, with the Michelin Soccer Program

To date, the Michelin Soccer Program has donated more than $15 million in funds and equipment, including over one million soccer balls, to more than 3,000 youth organizations in communities across the country. When it began over 14 years ago, about three million kids were playing soccer across the U.S. Today that number has grown to almost 18 million!* This outreach program aims to create community involvement with local soccer organizations through free soccer balls, rebates on tire purchases, fundraising initiatives and its local tire dealers. The purpose and vision of the program is to pair dealers with soccer organizations to create long-term and mutually beneficial relationships. The program is a fun way to start off the soccer season.

During this 30-day period, a customized certificate is sent to the soccer organization to be distributed to families so they can take advantage of the free soccer ball giveaway. The families who participate simply take the certificate to the dealer to receive a high-quality soccer ball while supplies last. No purchase is necessary to receive the ball. Soccer balls are available in various sizes as indicated on the certificates.

Additionally, a donation will be given to the participating soccer organization. For each MICHELIN® tire sold to the general public during the specified 30-day program period, Michelin will make a $2 cash donation to the participating soccer organization.

The certificate will also include an exclusive mail-in rebate for future tire purchases, valid for 60 days.

The Micheline Soccer Program not only facilitates the action of playing soccer, but also goes a long way in making sure that local communities benefit from the donated funds which are often used to purchase jerseys, field equipment, bleachers, goal nets, field maintenance and trophies.

For the love of the community, our dealers are giving back

Todd Haley, owner and operator of Brothers Tire Sales in Kannapolis, North Carolina, has been involved in the program for many years and enjoys giving back to his community.

“The smile each player gets when you hand them their soccer ball is so rewarding. Every time a player walks into my store to pick up their soccer ball we greet and talk to the player, introduce ourselves to the parent and tell them about my store. This is so easy to do to maintain and create new business.”

Hear what league representatives are saying!

“We received the check last week. Thank you so much for asking us to be a part of this program for a second year. It is such a great experience to see the kids out on the soccer field, and even better when they all have their own soccer balls. We are looking forward to working with you in the future.”

–Christine Burgtorf,
Amarillo Soccer Association

“Thank you for your generous donation. We are using it to purchase equipment and supplies like soccer balls and corner flags. On behalf of Burlington Township and our soccer program, again, we say thanks!”

–Respectfully, James B. Craig,
Director Township Recreation

“We are certainly interested in participating in the program again this year. Both you and the folks at Precision Alignment have been wonderful and our parents and players thoroughly enjoy and benefit from the relationship.”

–Art Miller, President,
DYAA Soccer

  • Your vehicle was manufactured with multiple tire sizes. Please select your size.

You can find your vehicle's original equipment tire size in one of the following places:
1. On the tire placard located on the driver's door jamb
2. In your owners manual
3. On glove compartment door
 4. Inside the fuel hatch or trunk lid

  • Find the exact tire quickly using your tire size. Check your owner's manual or tire sidewall to find the required specifications.

  • This three-digit number represents the width of the tire in millimeters (mm), measured from sidewall to sidewall. Since this measure is affected by the width of the rim, the measurement is done when the tire is on its intended rim size. <div><img src="/assets/mi/system/images/contextual-help/R2-width.png" /></div>
  • The aspect ratio is the relationship of a tire's sidewall height to its section width, expressed as a percentage. In this example, the tire sidewall height is approximately 55% of the tire width. The higher the number, the taller the sidewall; the lower the number, the lower the sidewall.<div><img src="/assets/mi/system/images/contextual-help/R2-aspect.png" /></div>
  • The diameter of the rim in inches.<div><img src="/assets/mi/system/images/contextual-help/R2-diameter.png" /></div>
