Michelin's Environmental Commitment Comes Full Circle

Michelin, which has done more than 16 years of research in energy efficient tires, is teaming up with the Clean Air Green Tour™ to help educate consumers on the benefits of green products. This 60-city tour will be stopping at Lowe's, Wal-Mart Supercenters and eight major festivals across America. Check the calendar to see when we'll be in your area.

BlogHer '09: Chicago

Michelin will once again support the BlogHer network with a premium sponsorship of their annual conference being held in Chicago, IL, July 24-25. BlogHer is a network of over 1,500 women bloggers fostering dialogue on parenting, health, traveling and more. Along with sponsoring the "Green and Eco-Blogging" session, encouraging environmental activism in corporations and government, Michelin has aligned with NativeEnergy to offset more than 200 tons of CO₂ produced from travel, hotel accommodations and all venue operations for the conference. Audi Mileage Marathon: New York to Los Angeles

Michelin partnered with Audi in its cross-country Mileage Marathon to generate awareness and public interest for the most promising technologies offering increased fuel efficiency and a reduced environmental footprint. Over a two-week period covering 4800 miles from New York to Los Angeles, the Audi A3 TDI averaged 45 mpg, the Audi A4 averaged 36 mpg and the Audi Q5 TDI vehicles averaged 32 mpg.
